Q:
What is a standard size box and why do you only store that size?
A: Standard box size is the common measurement for the industry and
it is approximately 1 cubic foot, usually with dimensions of 12" wide
by 15" long and 10" high. Our rack system is designed to fit only this
size of box. Each of these boxes weighs an average of 30 to 40 lbs.
Boxes that are any larger than standard pose a risk of injury to our
warehouse employees. For safety and economy, we only accept standard
size boxes for storage. ARSC can handle any reboxing that you may need.
Q: What is "dynamic filing" and what are
the advantages of it?
A: Dynamic filing means that when a storage box is refiled, the software
is capable of allowing the box to be stored in any open location. The
current refile location is automatically updated in the computer. Other
systems require the box to be returned to the same location from which
it was pulled. If not, the software will not be able to find it the
next time it is requested. This can cause the box to be "lost" within
the warehouse. Our system prevents this from happening.
Q: What about the confidentially of my
files?
A: All of our employees are bonded and
sign a confidentiality agreement as a condition of employment. No one
understands your concern for security of information better than ARSC!
